The staff at "The Lodge " are incredibly nice. In particular one older gentleman, we were in contact with quite a bit. He is just the type of person needed at the campground. Friendly and helpful. The campground is clean and quiet. You will hear the planes quite often, but you get used to it. Plenty of fun things for children to do. Big games outside, a net of some sort and places to ride their bikes supervised. The shuttle is great to take carowinds. A lot nicer then trying to find a parking space. Take advantage of it for sure! We enjoyed our stay!

This was our first time camping here and it was great! All of the staff were incredibly nice and helpful! It was so nice to have a tram take us right to the park, so we didn't have to deal with parking! If you don't have a season pass, this can save you lots of money! The sites were small, but there was still a lot of room for my kids to play and run around!

The RV campground is nice. If this is your first time here, you should be aware that this campground is located on an amusement park. The site price per night changes depending on the amusement activities. $89 Friday night, $103 Saturday night, $68 Sunday night. I did not go there for the amusement park. They also sent emails saying I could pay to reserve a cabana or chair by the pool. I wasn’t interested in the pool but thought it was funny that no one was using the pool. The lady who checked me in didn’t seem interested. She didn’t go over any details of my stay which is why they missed one of my days there. It was resolved but frustrating. They don’t send confirmation emails or I would’ve found the error. I wouldn’t stay here again. $261 for 3 nights is way too high.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! We had gotten the lodge and when we got there it was great until my friend and I went to lay down and saw a bed bug crawling next to me, we got up and looked around for more and within 1hr we had found 7+ in the whole lodge, when there is one there is many more. We got moved to two different cabins and 1 of the 2 had bed bugs as well. The other one had a toilet that didn't flush so we had to fill the back with water, it was 4am at this point and we were just so tired. We stayed in the one with the bad toilet because that beats bed bugs for sure. Definitely do not recommend coming here. With all that being said I want to mention that the security guard was looking through our windows roughly at 2am and it was not okay, this was before we found the bed bugs. Again I do not recommend this place

Great area if you are going to the park. Nice pool with good space to do laps. Passes are $42 at the RV park and cover entrance to the water park and theme park. Bathrooms lacked AC and the spaces are a bit close with mostly dirt and minimal grass. Flat concrete pad with space to park a 42’ 5th wheel and 1 ton truck at an angle. Enjoy!

Overall good campground, we camp here a lot. But avoid site 64 like the plague. A septic access, open manhole cover is under the picnic table. You will hear and smell whenever other campers dump. And there were a bunch of tiny black bugs all over us that I’m sure were coming from the sewer. This site should not exist.

Very nice campground next to the amusement park bit far enough away to be peaceful and quiet at night. Sites are well spaced. Some pull thru. Can accommodate big rigs. Mostly level. Nice washrooms. Pool.

It's a nice campground but it's expensive. You don't get many options around here though. They have a sand vollyball court, a pool in the summer, and its a big place to walk or run! Lots of trees but when it rains you site will most likely flood...
